Rent for 2009UndergraduatesIn 2009, the undergraduates are required to sign a 40-week contract. Due to the ongoing room renovation, some residents may be on a 37- or 38-week contract.
PostgraduatesThe contract for postgraduates is 45 weeks. For PhD students, most choose to sign a 52-week contract. Payment can be made on a fortnightly basis via PaySmart. However, there is an initial one-off setup fee of $5 and a $1.95 transaction fee for transaction. Up Front FeesIn addition to the rent, there is an upfront fee which is payable by both new residents and returning residents to confirm acceptance of a place. Refundable on a resident’s final departure from College provided all cards/keys issued are returned. A $70 charge is also made for any rekeying caused by a lost room card/key.
