Ms Sally Renouf  -  BA (Monash), JD (ANU), Solicitor

Sally and her husband, Brody Buckland lives on campus, in the Principal's residence nicknamed 'The Lodge'.  For more information about Sally see Principal.

Amelia Zaraftis  -  B.Ed (UC), B.Arts (Visual) with Honours (ANU)

Amelia lives on site with her partner Billy and their two children in Flat One. For more information about Amelia see Deputy Principal.

 

 

Residential Fellow

Brodie Buckland  -  BA (Harvard) Dip. Legal Studies (Oxon) JD (ANU)
Law, History, German

Brodie graduated from ANU with First Class Honours in his Juris Doctor, and was called to the ACT Bar in 2015.  A Burgmann resident since 2011, he is often helping residents with law queries, or playing with his dogs, Eve and Juno.  Brodie competed in the Men's Pair division at the London Olympics where he and pair partner James Marburg placed fifth. Sally and Brodie share a love of puns and the music of Paul Simon.

 

Postgraduate Community Coordinator

Abhi Sethi  -  BComm (UWA), JD candidate (ANU)
Law, Economics, Marketing

Abhi is a Juris Doctor Candidate at the ANU, starting his penultimate year. Prior to his law degree, he completed a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Western Australia, majoring in Economics and Marketing. Looking for a challenge, Abhi made the move interstate from Perth in 2015.

Abhi was a Residential Advisor in the Postgraduate Village in 2016, and is excited to take on the role of Village Community Coordinator in 2017. His primary focus in this role is to maintain and build upon the current inclusive and social community that exists in the Postgraduate Village.

 

 

Undergraduate Community Coordinator

Brody Hannan  -  Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Policy Studies (ANU)
Science Communication, Mathematics, Science Policy

Brody is a third year undergraduate student in Science and Policy Studies, and has called Burgmann home since 2015. Hailing from Cowra, NSW, Brody spent his summer undergoing basic training as an Officer in the Army Reserves, travelling through Thailand, and catching up with family.

As Undergraduate Community Coordinator in 2017, Brody hopes to further establish Burgmann as a place where each and every resident has the opportunity to make their university experience their own, and is supported in doing so.

Brody is excited to be leading this year’s Undergraduate RA team to ensure that no matter who you are, where you’re from, or what you study, you’re motivated to contribute to the Burgmann community and empowered to ‘do your own thing’.
