We are delighted to invite you to celebrate the College's Back-to-Burg Weekend. The Back-to-Burg 50th Anniversary Weekend last year was a huge success, with attendees coming from all around Australia and spanning every one of Burgmann’s 50 years in operation. We are so thrilled to have the opportunity to connect with you all again and create more wonderful Burgmann memories to cherish. See Special Highlights below.

Special Back-to-Burg Weekend Highlights: 

ANNUAL ALUMNI & FRIENDS DINNER 

A formal dinner with drinks, and an excellent opportunity to catch up with the Burgmann community. The night also includes the presentation of the 2023 Burgmann Alumni Awards (see below).

2023 BURGMANN ALUMNI AWARDS

These awards recognise and honour the achievements of alumni, and the valuable service of our staff and volunteers. Visit burgmann.anu.edu.au/burg-alumni-awards.

BURGMANN COLLEGE ALUMNI ASSOCIATION (BCAA) AGM

The BCAA AGM will cover some brief official business, however the main attraction for this event is the opportunity to hear, and contribute to, our exciting new plans over pre-dinner canapés and drinks. All welcome. 

Concession / U30 Tickets Available

Concession tickets are available for our highlight event, the Alumni & Friends Dinner on 19 August, for anyone under 30 or with concession circumstances. Just select the concession option when registering via Eventbrite or tick the concession box on the Registration Form to take up this option.

In keeping with Burgmann’s ethos of equality, we want our Back-to-Burg Weekend to be accessible to all members of our cherished community. If your financial circumstances might prevent you from attending, please contact the Advancement Team to access a confidential fee reduction on hardship grounds. Alternatively, if you would like to make a donation to support someone who might not otherwise be able to make it, please let the Advancement Team know.

Planning for Back-to-Burg Alumni Weekend could not be achieved without the wonderful input of our Burgmann community. Already a team of alumni and current residents have been working diligently to support this weekend of fun and celebrations, but we are always keen to attract more hands.
