Back-To-Burg Alumni Weekend Save the Date: 19-21 August 2022

The Burgmann College 50th Anniversary Back-to-Burg Alumni Weekend has been postponed until 19-21 August 2022. Please save the 'new' date! This change was decided with safety in mind, and to give us our best possible chance to include all who wish to attend. We appreciate your understanding.

The multi-event program for the weekend will be largely identical to the existing program, however we will confirm and promote the 2022 program in the New Year. We look forward with great anticipation to bringing our alumni and friends together to celebrate this important milestone for the College.

Message from the Principal

We had a tremendous start to our 50th Anniversary year, with thanks to the energy and thoughtfulness of our staff, members of our 2021 residential leadership team, and our enthusiastic volunteers.

In particular, I want to thank Matthew Lobb and the other members of our Burgmann College Alumni Association Committee for their dedicated support in the planning of the Back-to-Burg Alumni Weekend and launch of the Burgmann College Alumni Awards this year.

Our 50th celebrations were launched with a Welcome to Country and Smoking Ceremony by Ngambri Elder Dr Aunty Matilda House on 13 February—the perfect event to welcome our 170 new residents and our returning residents to College prior to the start of O-week. Read full Message
