Parking
Burgmann College has a limited number of available surface parking bays for residents. These include one open carpark on the north side of the College (B block carpark) as well as one boom gate-controlled car park on the south side of the College.
Burgmann College manages all surface parking on their campus and residents must hold a Burgmann Surface Parking Permit to use a bay. Every college parking bay is fitted with a permanent remote-control bollard, that is unable to be moved, disabled or driven over, allowing only the allocated permit holder to use the bay.
To apply for a Burgmann College Surface Parking Permit, residents must complete either the Equity Parking Permit (EPP) or Lottery Permit application which is emailed out to Burgmann residents at the end of the year.
Successful applicants for both EPP's and Lottery permits will be allocated a parking bay before applications open for ANU parking permits to allow unsuccessful applicants time to still apply for an ANU resident parking permit which allows them to park elsewhere on the ANU campus.

Why are the residents who get a parking bay at Burgmann paying so much less than other ANU permits?
While we have tried to help make parking more affordable for our community, we unfortunately only own and manage 42 resident parking spots on Campus. This means the rest of the parking bays students may get are managed by ANU and still affected by the fee increase.
