2024 Back-to-Burg Alumni & Friends Weekend

Over the weekend of 7–8 September 2024, Burgmann alumni and friends gathered at Burgmann College for our annual Back-to-Burg Alumni & Friends Weekend. We celebrated the recipients of the 2024 Alumni Awards, and enjoyed a special art exhibition by alumnus Mark Arnott (1989–1991) featuring Burgmann memorabilia and selected original works.

The Village's 20th Anniversary and Smoking Ceremony

We celebrated the 20th anniversary of The Village on 6 May 2024, to commemorate its special impact Burgmann College's history and community. We also formally unveiled the commissioned work of cherished Friend of the College, Paul Girrawah House, who co-hosted a Welcome to Country smoking ceremony with his mother, Aunty Dr Matilda House-Williams.

Family Weekend 2024

Burgmann College welcomed residents’ families to our campus for Family Weekend 2024 for a memorable 3-day event. Hosted by the Burgmann Residents Association (BRA) Vice Presidents Oscar McAuliffe and Josh Borland, the weekend was filled with exciting activities and bonding moments for families and our residents.

2024 Commencement Dinner

On 7 March 2024, residents and staff of Burgmann College came together to celebrate the commencement of a new school year, and to recognise the academic achievements of their peers from the previous year. We were thrilled to announce Phoebe Grosser as the 2023 College Medallist.
