An Era of Creativity, Community and Energy
The experience started arriving at Burgmann, lugging a wheel‑less 30kg suitcase and being instantly enchanted by flocks of colourful lorikeets and the unmistakable scent of eucalyptus from nearby tree‑cutting - kangaroos on the lawns came later. It felt like a true welcome to Australia.

Finding Your Why
In early August 2026, Georgie Radford had the opportunity to attend the 14th University Scholars Leadership Symposium at the United Nations Conference Centre in Bangkok, Thailand alongside 320 young leaders from 29 countries. During the week she learnt from passionate, inspiring and thought-provoking speakers.
