It’s not just the doorway to your new home away from home, but to an exciting journey of independence and discovery—to finding your identity in the wider world.

It’s been the same for every Burgie, before and since, unlocking the same door for over 50 years. So many memories across generations, connected by a single room number.

For every room at Burgmann, there is an intergenerational line of residents whose experience and memories of Burgmann are forever linked by a shared room number.

We invite you to make that shared history visible by putting your name on your door—and making a gift that ensures many more generations of residents can unlock the same doorway to possibility and transformation.

For a gift of $585, your name and years of residency will be engraved on a brass plaque and join the names of fellow alumni.

Your gift will go to the Principal’s Priorities Fund, supporting resident programs, pastoral care and improving communal spaces. And your name will help create a story through the decades, inspiring a sense of belonging and community for each new resident who opens your door to embark on their own journey.

If you resided in more than one room, additional plaques can be added for $150.
