Resident-led Mother's Day Market raises over $2k for the Growing The Harriet Nixon Scholarship Appeal

The morning after an elegant Family Weekend Charity Ball on Saturday evening, residents and their families enjoyed a beautiful and relaxed Mother’s Day Market held in the Burgmann Village.

In true Burgmann spirit, the Market was coordinated by BRA Village Rep AJ McMahon and BRA Village Whip Milly Dynan and supported by numerous kind-hearted residents who were passionate to be part of Growing the Harriet Nixon Scholarship.

The Market featured music, pre-loved clothing and books, Burgmann merchandise, baked goods, beautiful handmade posies by Fiona and Liss Nixon with the help of a dedicated team of volunteers, a barbecue, and coffee provided by Blak Bean Coffee & Catering.

The event was a fitting send-off for families and friends following a special weekend of reconnection and celebration, and a touching show of support from our resident community, who successfully raised $2,209 towards the Appeal.

We thank AJ McMahon, Milly Dynan, Blak Bean Coffee & Catering, the volunteers and residents who supported the event, and the families who attended.
