The beginning of Semester 2 saw many positive additions to Burgmann College: the arrival of enthusiastic new residents brought a fresh feel to the hallways, and the introduction of IB training brought a flush to many faces and a stagger to many steps. Most notable, however, was the grand reveal of the new Residents' Kitchen!
Burgmann is a residential college fortunate enough to be catered, with all meals provided. The opening of the Residents' Kitchen complements this structure, with the kitchen accessible to students to bake, poach, steam, and sauté to their hearts' content.
Burgmann residents were lucky enough to have the Residents' Kitchen Christened by their very own Head Chef, Kevin Geary, who ran a tutorial for eager students on cooking chicken. Since then, the kitchen has seen swarms of students, countless batches of brownies, and numerous plates of pastries through its doorway.
Both students and staff of Burgmann alike are thrilled at the unveiling of the Residents' Kitchen, and the excitement will undoubtedly only flourish from here.
