Burgmann alumna Sophie Roden fighting Ebola in Liberia

Burgmann alumna and former Residential Advisor Sophie Roden (2008–2010) is spearheading a bold campaign in the fight against Ebola in Liberia, monitoring and evaluating the largest social mobilization program in the country.

'It is so challenging, it feels like there are always new roadblocks that we didn’t anticipate, and sometimes it really wears you down. But it is the most rewarding thing you can do, so I would never want to be doing anything else,' said Sophie.

Her full, incredible story was covered by Lucia Osborne-Crowley of Women's Agenda, and we encourage you to read the details on their website: Meet the 26 year old Australian woman fighting Ebola in Liberia
