Burgmann alumnus Stuart Bryson’s Young Endeavour voyage

Burgmann alumnus and Australian National University Law and International Relations student Stuart Bryson was inspired by the stories and personal growth of friends who had voyaged with Young Endeavour in Australia, so he jumped at the chance to challenge himself by joining the world voyage.

"I'm a sailing novice and complete beginner when it comes to the open water. I expect to be challenged by learning such complex skills on the open sea, especially when picking up all the new terminology. I'm really looking forward to testing myself under the pressure of international Tall Ships Races across the Baltic Sea.

"My motivation in life is to see a new part of the world, learn about a different culture, and experience something different every year. Young Endeavour ticks all three boxes!

"In the lead-up to the voyage, I've been keeping fit by hiking around the Scottish Highlands and trekking the Isle of Skye. This is a truly magical part of the world," said Stuart.
