Congratulations to Burgmann alumnus Casey White (2010–2012) on his appointment as the Dean of Students and Advancement Officer for St Andrew's College University, Sydney. Casey will steward the well-being of the students, pastoral care, and academic and residential life programs, and work closely with the Director of Advancement on the alumni relations and philanthropy of St Andrew's College.
While a resident of Burgmann College, Casey was the Director of the Burg Singers (College Choir) and led the team to win the Inaugural College Choir competition. Casey was also responsible for starting the Inter-College Choir called 'The Daley Road Singers', and took them on tour to South Africa and the USA. His musical talents also led him to perform in the Orchestra for Spamalot in 2014.
In 2011, Casey won the Inaugural Peter Garret Award for Outstanding Contribution to Performing Arts, the Principal's Award for Overall Excellence, and the Contribution to the Arts Medals in 2010 and 2012.
