Redevelopment of the courtyard barbecue area between Homer and Barassi has begun!
With new barbecue grills, more seating options, and a new entry that will connect the courtyard with the Le Chat Noir bar, residents will be able to move between the indoors and outdoors more easily, and make greater use of the barbecue facilities for socialising and recreation.
The construction company Burgmann contracted has established a fenced safety perimeter around the area and will start work on 17 June 2024, ensuring that the disruption from the noise will be eliminated for residents who might otherwise be studying for their final exams.
This improvement was only possible with enormous thanks to our generous alumni and friends of the College. We are endlessly grateful for those who continue to give back to Burgmann, ensuring it remains a top-tier residential experience for new generations of Burgies.
