On Wednesday, 8 October, the CEO of the Police Federation of Australia, Mark Burgess, visited Burgmann as a White Ribbon Ambassador to speak to the students about violence and continued to spread the White Ribbon message.
White Ribbon is an organisation that works to prevent violence against women by changing attitudes and behaviours. In support of this, students and staff of Burgmann were asked to answer “one way to stop violence against women”.
