Burgmann residents raise support for batyr through Civic2Surf

Eleven Burgmann students were part of a 60-student-strong group of ANU students that ran 340km in under 24 hours from Canberra to Bondi to raise money and awareness for mental health organisation batyr.

batyr aims to engage, educate and empower young people to speak out about mental health issues by fostering an environment where talking about these issues and seeking help is not only accepted but encouraged and supported.

Help give a voice to the elephant in the room and start a conversation about how your community can help remove the stigma around mental health.
