In focus: Rittwick Visen finds connection and purpose through photography
Alumnus Rittwick Visen’s (2018–2019) journey to Burgmann College, and eventually his current role as the International Student Recruitment Lead for the College of Engineering, Computing and Cybernetics (CECC) at the ANU, all began with a camera.
With enormous gratitude to dedicated Burgmann residents, the Nixon family, and supporters from the ANU and batyr, Civic2Surf returned in 2025, reviving the fundraising relay from Canberra to Bowral.
Help us identify these Burgmann football players from 1988
One of our alumni recently shared these photos from a 1988 Burgmann vs Bruce Hall football match (Men's and Women's), and we need your help to identify the Burgies in these photos.
Enduring love and a lifelong commitment to giving back: Honouring Gwenyth and Kevin Bray
Gwenyth and Kevin Bray’s connection with Burgmann College began in the late 1960s when the College was still only a concept. During our 50th anniversary celebrations in 2022, Gwenyth and Kevin reconnected with the College and soon after began to support our Bursaries and Scholarships Program. The College is honoured to share this story of Gwenyth and Kevin’s loving partnership, and their inspirational lives of generosity and selfless service.
