Want to be a Burgie? Here's how to apply

To apply for residence at Burgmann College, prospective students are required to apply online only, via the ANU University Accommodation Services (UAS) Portal. The UAS portal is the central application portal to apply for residence at any ANU or affiliated Hall, College or Lodge.

You must put Burgmann College as your first preference and then provide supporting documents to our College. These documents form your Burgmann application. Please follow the steps below to ensure your application is processed correctly.

Apply to ANU

To apply for residence at Burgmann College, prospective students must apply online via the University Accommodation Services (UAS) portal. The UAS portal is the central application portal to apply for residence at any ANU or affiliated Hall, College or Lodge.

When applying on the UAS portal you choose Burgmann College as your first preference. Use the STEP 1 button below to begin your application process.

Step 2

Provide Supporting Documents

If you chose Burgmann College as your first preference, you will be prompted to provide supporting documents. These documents form your Burgmann application and include a personal statement, one page CV and two character references.

Burgmann College welcomes applications from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander ANU students.

The College holds a minimum of two places per annum for Indigenous students. Applicants are encouraged to apply for the Burgmann Price Scholarship and for Burgmann College Scholarships or Bursaries.

Burgmann College is fortunate to work in close partnership with the Tjabal Indigenous Higher Education Centre to support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students in the application process
