Alumna Emma Roberts named Inaugural Yudhoyono Fellow

The College congratulates alumna Emma Roberts (2012–2013), one of three students awarded a prestigious ANU scholarship as part of the New Colombo Plan. The scholarship provides up to $67,000 for each awardee to study at an Asian University. Emma is currently studying a double degree in Law and Asia-Pacific Studies.

Speaking of her time at Burgmann, she said:

'I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of you and everybody else at Burgmann College for the incredible support and encouragement with which you provided me during my residence there. It was being surrounded by like-minded, passionate, and motivated students during my first years at university and being able to participate in programs such as the Burgmann Alumni Mentoring program, which really encouraged me to get involved on campus and in the community and thus be capable of earning prestigious awards such as this one. Thank you!'

We wish Emma all the best and a safe journey into this next chapter of her studies.
